I was reading a (assummably normal) book when I stumbled upon the following (hidden?) chapters:

10.4.1 Having Children

10.4.2 Watching Your Children Die

10.4.5 Killing Yourself

10.4.6 Killing Others

Bizarre? No, the chapters are in the "Linux Application Development SE" book (ISBN 0-321-21914-7). The chapter is about processes and threads in the linux kernel, although after reading this and seeing that the highest PID number in my linux machine now is 27682 there must have been some mass murder in my linux machine. What happened to all the children (and their parents)?
