A carbon airfilter designed to hold carbon pellets.
Yet-another-shitty-carbon-filter
A 3D-printed carbon filter for your 3D printer. It exists because the Nevermore Micro's parts kept breaking and its lid never fit. This one scrubs the VOCs out of the air while you print ASA.
What you print
- A body holding 4mm carbon pellets.
- A lid carrying a 5015 blower fan.
- Mounts for 1515 and 2020 extrusion, plus an Ultimaker 2 bracket.
- No supports needed. ASA recommended.
The airflow
The airflow path is short. A 5015 blower pulls printer air through the body packed with 4mm carbon pellets. I set the outlet vents 2mm above the floor so dust settles rather than blowing out. On a Voron it runs as a Klipper `controller_fan`, spinning up with the extruder and idling out after 15 minutes.
